It is a hotel with a great quality to price ratio. It offers mostly everything a 3 star hotel should have.
I would underline some of the following positive aspects:
- great cleanliness (they really do scrub and mop the floors, you can easily walk barefoot around the room without feeling dirty)
- staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, in true Bruneian style (as we have recently found out)
- the transport service is a nice touch and will save you some dollars on Dart (the local Uber). Mind you, on busy days the service is done based on availability and other customer's needs, so on some of the trips we chose to go by ourselves. And some of the longer journeys which require extra payments (like the Empire Brunei or Jerudong Amusement Park) are actually cheaper with Dart. But overall a great plus for this hotel.
- breakfast is good. Around 6 choices every morning, all quite tasty
- water is supplied for free

Areas where some improvement might be necessary:
- we booked a superior room but the size is not actually that big. There is no wardrobe or closet where you can put your clothes (just a small clothes hanger area) so we ended up putting them around the room.
- some amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste could be supplied in the room.

Jay Tsng Tze Chuan was very helpful. He is the best! Answered every question. Sent catalogs and prices requested. The entire experience was a pleasure. I will be back the next time I’m in the market. I recommended anyone to go see Jay Tsng Tze Chuan.

The room is great, high end luxury, but the thing that get me FRUSTRATED is when they said they have WiFi networks, what a liar, when I tried to connect the WiFi to my mobile it's take LONG time, when I tried to text or do something online it lagging so so much, and another things is when I went to the grand deluxe room with 2 single, September 2023 bedme and my family want to watch Netflix I use the WiFi password that has been given, same thing to connect the WiFi, it does not does so well, and it work so well me and my family enjoyed it so much, BUT WHEN I BOOK THE SAME ROOM AT DECEMBER, UGHHHH MY GOD WE CANT EVEN GO THROUGH THE NETFLIX AND WATCH YOUTUBE, and then we watched the TV shows that has been prescribed, but the rooms is great, clean, have bathtub, and the pool is great too

The food is arguably the best place for a good meal in comparison to other playground's restaurant. Been here multiple times, have not been disappointed with the food. Ayam penyet kam heong with rice would be the order my wife would go for every single time. Highly suggest for both food while the kids having fun.

The cheddar mushroom burger was nicely done with tender and juicy patty. However the baked chicken disappoints, it was advertised in the menu as stuffed with spinach amongst others. But it's only stuffed with some soggy shred of lettuce and bits of tomatoes. Soft and tender baked chicken neverthesless, but please fix yr menu. The cappucino also packs a punch, strong dose of coffee perfect ending to the meal.
Very nice spot overlooking the city from the first floor. Superb service

The atmosphere at this place was decent, but I wouldn't recommend it for families. I visited with friends, one of whom brought their baby, and unfortunately, the environment didn't seem particularly baby-friendly.

The service also left something to be desired. We brought a customized cake to celebrate a friend's birthday, and we felt judged by the staff for bringing in an "outside" dessert.

Soto pado is de facto soto place in Brunei, however it's food quality has decreased since introducing a larger menu. Regardless the staff and owners are welcoming and fun to talk to. Soto pado is both great during the afternoon and evening atmosphere wise. However parking is VERY limited

Please improve on service (Front Office), very poor service, no initiative, doesn't apologize when customer complain, please improve on those too. And the room need maintenance too, for example the button flush need to fix it. It was very hard to press.

Went here for a quick snack the place is located on the first floor and is huge. Beautifully decorated with plants and a huge teddy bear in the end.

I got the FRIED CHEESY WANTAN which had a chicken filling and a cheese dip. Wantan was crispy but chicken filling was a bit dry.

The CUCUR PISANG was different as they use a bread batter so its soft and bready rather than crispy. It was okay.

Would like to try their main dishes and update this review again in the future.

Great service, made the process of applying to university very straight forward and direct, in addition to securing me a scholarship reduction on tuition fees. Also helped me to attain student VISA as well.
